The mental health app that might save your life — and doesn’t even ask for your name.
Help with help.
CheckIn is a private, anonymous mental health check-in app designed to help you stay grounded, track your well being, and reach out—without needing to say a word. Whether you’re doing okay or quietly struggling, CheckIn helps you build awareness, recognize trends, and automatically alert trusted contacts when it matters most.
🧠 Anonymous Check-Ins
No names. No accounts. Just daily check-ins to track how you’re really feeling — in under 30 seconds.
📊 Smart Risk Detection
Our system quietly detects warning signs based on patterns, words, and check-in gaps — all privately stored on your device.
🛟 Trusted Contact Alerts
Choose a few trusted friends or loved ones. If your check-ins raise concern, they’ll be notified with supportive prompts — not alarms.

How it Works
1️⃣
Check in daily
Use simple sliders, mood words, or write a few thoughts — all stored privately on your device.
2️⃣
We evaluate risk
Our built-in risk engine looks for subtle shifts in mood, words, or behavior to gently flag when something might be off.
3️⃣
We alert your LifeSavers
Only if things look truly concerning. We never share what you wrote — just a gentle message to check on you.
"I'm fine..."
We’ve all said it when we weren’t. Asking for help is hard — but CheckIn makes it easier. This app was built for the moments when speaking up feels impossible.
It gives you a voice, even when you don’t feel like using one.
🟨 SMS Alerts & Consent Disclosure
✅ What messages are sent?
CheckIn may send a text to a LifeSaver contact you added — but only if your check-ins suggest serious mental health risk.
✅ What do they say?
We never share private info. Just a simple message asking your contact to check in on you.
📨 Example message:
“Hi, your friend may be struggling. They use the CheckIn app and asked you to check in…”
✅ How do I opt in?
You must add LifeSavers yourself and turn this feature on. No alerts are sent otherwise.
🔸 By adding a LifeSaver:
You confirm that the person has given you permission to receive an SMS message from CheckIn if something seems wrong. You agree not to add any contact unless they have provided **prior express consent** to receive **safety-related text messages** from CheckIn on your behalf.
